Paper Mate Regular Profile Pen, White Barrel, mid 1970s

Description

From the mid-1970s, a less-common White Paper Mate Profile Pen in good working condition.
The action is smooth. There is little apparent wear on the barrel.  The bright chrome cap shows a faint "orange-peel" effect in the surfaces near the lower 3/8-inch of the tube, above the threaded connection.  In certain light it's visible (Photos 1-5; close-up in Photo 5) but not unattractive (Photo 6).  However, it's a cosmetic defect that needs to be mentioned.
The pen will ship with a new MMF "Jumbo Jogger" Medium-Point Blue ink refill, so it will be ready for use.
This pen was made at the Paper Mate facility in Santa Monica, California. The MMF refill was made elsewhere.
